Owned and operated for over 20 years by Joe (Jose) Gutierrez, this "master of the wrench" takes pride in every customer transaction. Located near the base of Mt. Diablo, Danville Bikes offers customers a huge selection of bike and cycling accessories and provides the area with a superior repair service. Joe and his staff are all riders. They start most mornings off with a couple hour ride before the shop opens. As riders they know equipment and the importance of making sure that everything leaving Danville Bike, operates in an optimum manner. They'll use their experience to provide you with the needed information to help you select the product or service that is correct for you and your ride.
I have bought at least 7 bikes from this shop for myself and family members over the past 10 years. I've never looked at another store for price comparisons. If that's your bottom line for purchasing a bike go online or out of state where there's no sales tax. What you can't put a price tag on is the service and advice that comes with a purchase at Danville Bike.
Have purchased two Giant bikes and have had numerous fixes done to all our bikes over the past 6-7 years. I appreciate that they always do good work at a fair price and they stand behind their work. Jose and team are always helpful, courteous and expedient.
