Always been a fan of Ace in general but this location and Walnut Creek are probably my favorites. Unlike the big box stores, the staff actually offer help locating items and advice when needed.
Great selection of tools and supplies for my various projects over the years. The staff is very knowledgeable and glad to help so don't be afraid to ask for advice.
I had a dead battery in the parking lot and one of their employees took a break to come out and help me out!! Noah was his name. I cannot say more about what he did!! Please take care of this employee!!! AMAZING!!
Went to Ace today to see if they were still honoring the buy $50 get $10 gift card special. The cashier had to ask another worker to call and verify. They honored it even though it was no longer in their ad, but I had the mobile ad that said until the 29th. When I got home I realized the $10 gift card was not activated. I went back and the lady that sold us the card had to call customer service again to verify what was going on. I was in the store over 30 minutes while she got the turn around from customer service having to call more than 3 phone numbers. Their company phones weren't working so she was using their cell. I didn't mind shopping around while I waited for her to handle it. Other workers asked if I needed help with anything, which of course is nice.
I heard the worker yelling at the customer service line saying this is unacceptable and she has a customer waiting and she keeps getting sent in circles. Eventually she offered to buy me a $10 gift card from her own pocket. For this, the store still gets 5 stars for their customer service even though I wasted about an hour today have to drive back and forth. Thank you Sherri.
