Our animal hospital is lead by Dr. Sukhwinder Virk, who has been working as a veterinarian for Concord patients since 1998. He grew up on a farm in India and attended the Punjab Agricultural University School of Veterinary Medicine, as well as Purdue University in America, and has always been an advocate for animals in need. His thirty years working in our community shows his dedication and commitment to making a difference for our pets.
He brings his expertise and compassion to every pet he cares for, especially . Dr. Virk, along with our team, believe in a gentle approach to veterinary care and always put the needs of the animals before profit. We are proud to have the help of Dr. Freeman, along with our veterinary technicians and staff to help us achieve this goal.
In addition to providing top quality care, Alpine Veterinary Hospital supports and gives back to local rescue organizations as part of our mission to earn the trust and respect of our clients, patients and community. My family has been seeing Dr. Virk since 1996. We've never had ANY bad experiences with Dr. Virk. He cares for all of our dogs. He's the best vet around and even the front staff are nice as well. Please go see Dr. Virk! He's the best and actually cares for animals!
it's been 4 years now that my 15 years old miniature pincher has been treated by Dr. VIRK for his spinal arthritis which was so painful that he would cry in pain every time he would move from a resting position. It was heartbreaking to see my boy in so much pain . I presented his condition to Dr. VIRK and we agreed to put him on a treatment plan of care . It was unbelievable how much the treatment worked . Buddy ,my boy , is pain free and people couldn't believe he is 15 years old by the way he moves ,very active and still very aware of his environment .
I feel very grateful for the 20+ years of excellent care from Dr. VIRK .
Staff is always friendly and the docs are great too. We tried 2 other vets in the concord area and were not happy. Alpine is definitely what I would recommend. We have two large dogs and the staff and doctors have been calm, friendly and confident (our GSD can be shy/not sure what she's going to do w/ strangers).
