Today I had my first visit at ASAP IVs! Making an appointment was easy. I called the day before and let them know I recently had bloodwork done. They offered to have their doctor review it and make a recommendation. I emailed it over and a few hours before my appointment I had the recommendation in my inbox.
I arrived a bit early because I had never been here before but parking on the street was pretty easy.
My first impression walking in was, "Wow! This is niiiice!" The environment was clean and peaceful. Despite being spacious, the clinic was broken up into smaller seating areas, making it more cozy. I was greeted by nurse Amanda, who warmly invited me to sit wherever I liked. I made myself comfortable and while I waited for my appointment, I watched Amanda treat the other clients with care the same warmth she greeted me with. Despite me being 30 minutes early, Amanda was sure to check on me to ensure I was comfortable and assure that she would begin my service ASAP.
Amanda was able to start me on time. We went over my medical history and confirmed the vitamins I was getting today. She then took my blood pressure and offered me a blanket.
Amanda was very good at administering the IV. No poking and prodding! As she added the vitamins, she explained their benefits. Very nice.
Overall, this has been a very nice experience! If I feel the benefits from the infusion, I can definitely see making ASAP IVs a part of my self care routine.
