Spinal adjustments are the hallmark of treatment in most chiropractic offices. After your evaluation and consultation (and x-rays oftentimes), the doctor will check your alignment and perform specific adjustments to your spine. The purpose of this treatment is to improve alignment, balance, and joint mobility so you can feel your best.
Chiropractic adjustments are most well known in the spine, however our doctors also commonly may adjust your shoulder or hip if there are misalignments or stiffness found in those regions. Chiropractic can treat a broad range of conditions, such as:
Neck and back pain
Sciatica
Shoulder and arm pain
Hip and leg pain
Osteoarthritis
Neuropathy
Headaches
Poor posture
And more!
What I can I say:
When I first started coming I was really spectacle if this treatment will work for me, But life is all about taking the first step.
I had just been in a car accident and I've been starting to have some neck and back pain.
My first visit, the Doctor made everything understandable and explain how the treatment work.
Now I love this place and he helped with the pain.
So come on take that first step to a better life!!
The Doctor is absolutely amazing!! I got rear ended about 2 weeks ago and have been going to get my neck and back adjusted. They were able to give me an appointment super fast, and the minute I walked in everyone was so welcoming and kind. He patiently explained the process (both the trauma your body experiences and may feel, and also all the legal insurance stuff that goes along with it all), and made sure I felt comfortable and had clarity the entire time. I feel so much better already, I HIGHLY recommend this place if you're looking for a chiropractor!!
have been coming here for about 20 years, off and on. Now I have been coming consistently once a month for maintenance.
Staff are very welcoming, kind, friendly and speak the truth of your necessary adjustments.
I highly recommend coming here for your accidents, maintaining adjustments and your chiropractic needs.
Lower back pain is known by chiropractors as uncomplicated mechanical lower back pain - which means that it is muscle and joint based. Pain tends to come from the lower 3 or 4 segments within the lower back and also the SI joints. The pain can be local to the lower back or radiated into the buttocks. It tends to be caused by joints and muscles in that area and when these joints get stiff (aynthing from digging to sitting in a strange position can cause this) and inflamed. Around the inflamation there is irriitation which gives pain around the lower back.
A chiropractor can loosen the muscles which encourages movement which, in turn, reduces inflamation and the pressure on the joints and muscles around the area. This reduces the amount of pain.
The segment that seems to be the tightest is found and this is manipulated in which ever way seems most appropriate to the patient, thereby reducing inflamation and the pain will reduce quite quickly.
Because of the mechanism of the body the muscles at the tops of the buttocks will be tight and need releasing. Ice and specific stretches can also reduce pain.
