Dayspring Preschool application form and tuition information are available on our website, www.dayspringpreschool.org. ENROLLMENT is available, and will continue throughout the year with space availability. Dayspring Prechool enrolls children of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the programs, and activities made available at the preschool. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin regarding admissions, scholarship programs, or any other school-administered program. Dayspring Preschool opened in August 2010 and offers a variety of full-time and part-time programs for children ages 2.9-5 years. Dayspring Preschool hours of operation are 7am to 5:00pm.
We are conveniently located just off I-680 at the Sycamore Valley exit in Danville. Our facility includes bright spacious classrooms, outdoor learning spaces, a beautiful playground, as well as a large indoor play area. Dayspring Preschool is affiliated with Danville Congregational Church, a United Church of Christ in Danville, California.
Dayspring Preschool offers high quality preschool program that are fun, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate. Our program supports the young child’s critical thinking skills, integrates the inquiry learning process through hands on learning, and fosters positive character development.
Our curriculum honors the whole child, and prepares children for a successful transition to Kindergarten and beyond. We value the importance of play and the role it has in creating the love of learning for young children.
At Dayspring Preschool diversity is embraced and respected, natural curiosity is encouraged, and all faith traditions are valued. Dayspring Preschool is more than a learning center or childcare; we are a community. Parent Support and Learning Opportunities are also offered.
Absolutely love Dayspring Preschool. Our family has spent 5 years with two sons enrolled at Dayspring and both had such a wonderful experience. The director, Sonna cares so deeply about the school and students and it shows. Ms. Kim at the front desk is the friendliest face to see at drop off and pickup and the teaching staff becomes like family. They truly care about the children and make the day so fun for the kids. It's the perfect balance of a play based and learning based curriculum. Their outdoor area is awesome and they are able to use the Great Hall at the church next door for performances and graduations and play time when the weather is bad. Classrooms are clean! and they navigated Covid perfectly. It was so helpful to be able to enroll my TK son back into Dayspring in person rather than trying to have him complete TK virtually in his home elementary school.
I cried tears when our time was up at Dayspring. I miss the community there and seeing such friendly, wonderful people everyday. I'd recommend Dayspring to anyone looking for a great preschool experience!
We have been here for about 6 months and boy are we in love. Your children are in great hands here. The entire atmosphere of the school is just so calm and inviting. All the staff and teachers are extreme nice and patient. They really listen to you with any concerns you have without getting defensive and if you have a point, they will implement it. And if you don't, they don't make you feel bad for stressing out about something that wasn't really a big deal. My son has improved so much not just academically but socially as well. We love it here and are soooo lucky to have found them. Can't wait for our other child to attend as soon as she is 2. Thank you for everything you do for our children.
Dayspring is a place where the ENTIRE staff takes the time and effort to understand and support the academic and social growth of your child. It is a place where your child will feel understood, valued, loved and safe. They incorporate the best of Montessori and traditional practices in their academic program and our son graduated with a solid academic foundation. He blossomed under their care and we cannot thank Ms. Kay, Ms. Janice and all the wonderful teachers who helped our son enjoy being at school. There is a reason why many teachers in the area, including myself, enroll our children in this special place. Dayspring meets all my high standards as an educator.
