Established in 1981, Diablo Hills Country School is a family venture that provides safe, educational experiences that last a lifetime. Our student to teacher ratios are consistently lower than mandated by the state in order to best develop each child, unlike many high volume commercial day care center competitors. Our facilities were built with smaller classrooms in order to provide a warm, home like learning center. Our curriculum is a developmentally structured program that supports the goals of the San Ramon Valley Unified School District and prepares the children for Kindergarten while having fun. Our goal is for the children to develop a positive self image while honoring each family's unique cultural situation. We are fully licensed by the State of California Department of Social Services and are currently undergoing the NAEYC process in order to obtain NAEYC accreditation. Over the years, Diablo Hills Country School has won many awards, which include, but are not limited to, PACE Child Care Center of the Year in 2006.
We had both of our children come up through Diablo Hills and can't say enough great things. Miss Angie does a great job communicating and managing from the top, and all of the teachers we've had for our daughter and son have been tremendous from Ms Mina, Ms Holly, Ms Momta and Papiya. The school is secure and safe with excellent programs and activities. They do a great job sending home lots of photos and updates of what our kids have been up to along the way. Our daughter now in 1st grade and son upcoming into TK graduated well equipped and ready for transition into kinder.
I cannot express how grateful I am for these teachers. We started out little on at 18m and Miss Holly has given her the best possible start to school. I truly believe I have Diablo hills to thank for her being such a confident student now. They really invest in their wellbeing and keep you updated on your Childs progress. We have had amazing, enthusiastic teachers and the Management (Angie) is incredibly helpful and did an amazing job of getting through the closures during the pandemic. When they opened back up they went above and beyond to have a safe, (Impeccably) clean and organized set up. I felt so safe sending my child back to school. That really does say a lot! Here we are months later and they never once have let up on their new safety precautions. So appreciated. My oldest will be graduating this year, and not only do I feel very confident in her education going into Kinder, but so sad that she wont be with these teachers everyday!
I live 20 miles away and will be continuing to do the commute to have my second child be in this program. I have recommended all my family and friends to come here.

It is a great preschool for kids to learn and play. There are great activities for the children. It is a safe environment that makes kids feel comfortable. Security is a top priority, which is fantastic! They also feed the kids lunch and have flexible hours.
I currently have a two year old and four year old attending Diablo Hills Country School and couldn't be happier. The teachers are so kind and in-tune with the kids and always have their best interest in mind. Both of my children have learned so much this past year and love attending preschool. Diablo Hills teaches to the whole child and is very accommodating to their individual needs.
My son has food allergies and I've been impressed by the way Diablo Hills has kept him safe. It is a nut free facility and they make sure to provide safe, as well as, healthy food options for my son.
Lastly, Angie, the Program Director for the preschool, is amazing. She puts in the extra effort to make sure everything is running smoothly and the children are getting the best preschool experience possible.
We definitely recommend this preschool for a whole child approach to learning.
