Dr. Allen Boghossian is a board certified and fellowship trained ophthalmologist. Dr. Boghossian grew up in the Bay Area and attended Santa Clara University. After graduating with honors, he attended medical school in Missouri where he graduated first in his class. Following his residency, Dr. Boghossian completed a sub-specialty training called a fellowship in laser vision correction at the world-renowned Durrie Vision.
Dr. Boghossian is a regular speaker at national ophthalmology meeting and LASIK instructor to ophthalmology residents at the American Academy of Ophthalmology Annual Meetings. Dr. Boghossian is active in the community and is the chairman to the board of directors for the non-profit organization Prevent Blindness Northern California (PBNC) and See Well to Learn (SWTL).
Five star ophthalmologist. Very intelligent and the best in his field. Treats many famous people and those that are sort of famous, like we all think we are. He is kind, personable and a true specialist. His staff is also of the highest quality. Run don't walk as he stays booked up months in advance! P.S. He also gives great referrals to other medical professionals!
I have been a patient for a few years and had an incident that really made me love this place. Long story short I got a cataract fairly young. When I started having an issue Dr Boghossian got me in quickly and handled everything personally. He connected me with a great surgeon (Dr Gilbert) and I had successful surgery about a month later. He was extremely professional, knowledgable and has a great bedside manner. I have been lucky enough to be pretty healthy and he took the scary out of this issue for me. I can't say enough about how much I appreciate him and his practice.
Dr Boghossian saved my husband's eye after a concussion and also cared for my eye after an acute eye hemorrhage. We are extremely thankful that he and his staff are so responsive, skilled and show personal care. We go to Dr. Boghossian for regular eye care and exams and knowing he is also there for those rare emergencies that need experience, follow through and just the right intervention is so comforting and merits the highest ratings possible.
Thanks to Dr. Boghossian and his staff, I now have 20/20 eyesight and my husband and I are deeply grateful for his care. Our community is so fortunate to have Dr. Boghiassian and his staff here and we thank you!
