We could not be more thrilled with how our new fence turned out.
We bought our house last year and it has needed a lot of love. The previous owners just left old chunks of fencing on the ground next to the existing fence. Well, one day, we decided to collect the old fencing material, and sure enough, the next day our fence fell over (apparently those old pieces were keeping the current ones up).
We got quotes from a few fence companies, and while G&G wasn't the cheapest, they seemed to be the most thorough and understand exactly what we were looking for (thanks to Ben). The crew was great and worked so, so hard! We had them remove another section of fence that was going to fall down any day now. We also have a severe slope in our backyard and they put in a retaining wall as the base of the fence. It was a LONG 2.5 days of hard work for those guys (I seriously think they worked 12 hour days), but we are so thrilled with the result! Can't wait to hire them again to work on our decks!
To say G&G did a great job is an understatement. We had them demolish and then rebuild the second-floor deck off our main bedroom, which many contractors did not want to attempt. The crew was on time, professional, and the finished job was perfect. Not to mention they were $10,000 less than the next bid. Wow! Having heard great things about G & G Deck and fence, I just called and spoke with Betony to request a quote appointment. It turns out our project isn't a fit with projects they are able to take at this time, but she spoke to me for 17 minutes, offering tips for questions to ask and things to look for as we continue to get quotes elsewhere and helping me sort out some of the information I've gotten so far and questions that have come up for me in this process. Despite knowing that we wouldn't be a customer for this project, she was not at all rushed, was very informative, invited me to call back with any other questions that came up, and truly wanted to do as much as she could to help me.
