Everything has just been fantastic! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
It's my first time eating here after a holiday snow family trip from Lake Tahoe, they have a great options of Ramen. The ambiance is small for a huge family but the food is good! They could have plastic chopsticks for customer to reuse but they use wood which I thought eco-friendly, either way it's fine for me. It is located at Pleasant Hill downtown, Concord, CA. The outside ambiance is really good too. Two thumbs up for a ramen cravers like me!
My favorite ramen place in Contra Costa because the broth here is really good. My go to is the no frills Hakata Tonkotsu. A lot of ramen places put a lot of "stuff" in their broth but good broth is just good broth. I don't need to be whacked over in the head. The egg is nice and jammy but not too soft. Personally I would prefer it just a bit more jammy. The appetizers here are good but can really outshine the ramen. I've tried all the other ramen places around here and so far this is my favorite.
I really love the tonkatsu broth here! My only wish is that they gave me more! Haha! I'm so glad to have a good ramen place in downtown PH.
