A native San Franciscan, John has been a tennis director and head tennis professional in the San Francisco Bay Area for the past 27 years.
John has also coached numerous juniors to high rankings at the Northern California as well as National level.
John's motivational style and passion for tennis are a perfect fit for all ages and abilities of junior tennis.

With a 30 year sports industry and business ownership background, I have a proven track record of success and personal achievement. I started my first club management position as Director of Tennis Operations at Moraga Tennis, Swim and Fitness Club, running that program for 2 years.
I was the Director of Tennis Operations at Blackhawk Country Club for 18 years where I grew their tennis program and overall membership from a nonexistent program to one of the finest in the country. I accomplished this by managing the entire member experience from the staff to the tennis facility operations. In the 18 years of tennis management, I feel I’m ready to move into a similar and more challenging role with a new team.
After leaving Blackhawk I continued growing my personal book of clients teaching at my own facility in Diablo, CA. This move has been most gratifying to see my efforts transform many under-performing students who rose up to the highest levels in Nor Cal tennis. My summer tennis camp is the largest in the East Bay, attended by students of all levels and ages.
