Had a nice family dinner at MJ Sushi on New Year's Day. My favorite dish is the Poke Salad bowl/plate, the poke sauce is sweet, the tree type of fishes are fresh, and the portion is quite generous!
The Sushi roll we had was delicious and fresh as well!
The serves there were friendly and helpful especially a young lady (forgot to ask her name) who did extra work to fill up my water bottle with hot water since we had two days power outage at home.
Overall the new MJ Sushi Restaurant is a great addition to the neighborhood dine-out list.
Only suggestion is that GRILL the teriyaki chicken instead of fry it!
What gem of a local sushi place. Their presentation of the sushi ordered was lovely. Every bite of the specialty sushi's were a delight. I really had no idea this sushi place was there and how darn good it was!
This is a little gem with great service and food! I loved everything we got and heres the verdict:
Red dragon roll (5/5) - waiter recommended! The spicy tuna paired well with the shrimp tempura!
Takoyaki (4/5) - I am not used to the kind of flakes they put on top of their takoyaki bc they were a little hard, but they put in huge chunks of octopus in them. I would be surprised if they werent made in house.
Deluxe Chirashi (5/5) -I am a sucker for chirashi bowls. This was honestly the most worth it chirashi I had!
