Hop in the DeLorean and set the date to 1985. Because Retro Junkie is taking you back. How far back? Way back. Retro Junkie oozes 80s/90s nostalgia… a time when arcade games cost a quarter and ollies were snapped in every parking lot. It’s a throwback bar, but it’s so much more. The unique space blends pop culture geek with rock ‘n’ roll chic. It’s got modern classic “swag” dripping from neon pasted art covered walls. There’s a DJ spinning from a one-of-a-kind booth made from old tape decks (you’ve got to see to believe) and live music blaring from the best sounding stage in the East Bay. Want more? Retro Junkie has live band karaoke, comedy shows, outdoor movie nights, premium pinball, pool tables, and classic arcade games (Tron or Ms. Pac-Man! anyone?). There is truly something for everyone.

If you’re thirsty, Retro Junkie has an amazing signature cocktail menu and a diverse local craft beer selection on tap. If you’re hungry, local gourmet food trucks are on constant rotation during the weekends.

ARI was wonderful from the moment I emailed inquiring about getting a VIP table for my son's birthday her and I continued to communicate via text which was even more convenient! She answered all my questions and booking the reservation was so easy!
I think the best part was actually getting to meet her that night! Hands down best service ever! Everyone was attentive and I can say the party went extremely well thanks to the staff especially the bartenders who made the tasteful cocktails.
Will definitely go back and everyone needs to ask for ARI! Love that girl!

We absolutely love this place the bands that they hire here are so talented not only are they excellent musicians but most often dress up to look the part which makes it even more. The bartenders and the staff are always super friendly and make great drinks. I am an ambience person and this place is fabulous. They stay so true to their theme shown on the walls throughout with pinball machines and memorabilia laced through the building. There is no other place like this you have to come and once you do, you'll probably come often. It's our favorite local spot to go out and dance, Have fun here awesome music from the 80s and 90s! Honestly, I'm so grateful to have this place. There's nothing else around that's as fun.

Great experience here!!!

We walked in and they charged us cover ($15 each) the lady at the front was so friendly. There was a band playing and they were literally so good. I wish i got their name:(

They had us order our drinks over the phone and they came pretty quickly. The piña colada and Dusk to Dawn were both very good, pretty strong. We gave the first a 9/10 and the second a 8.5/10 for taste. The music was super loud honestly so if your ears are sensitive I suggest bringing ear plugs lmfao. Other than that, the vibes here were great! Everyone was just having a great time

The greatest way to top it off is the food truck they had outside. It was called King Gyro (highly recommend checking it out) i look forward to coming back again:-)
