Pretty chill here. We stumbled upon this vineyard because Murrieta'a Well does not allow anyone on their grounds under the age of 21 and we had our 17 year old daughter. The entrance to this winery stated "live music" so we called to ensure that they allow minors. Sure enough, children are welcomed, just don't bring in any balls and/or breakable items.
We were able to check in right away, purchased a bottle of nice Sauvignon Blanc to share and found a nice seating area on the picnic grounds. We also purchased a delectable shrimp and crab sandwich from the stand--homemade by a very nice couple, and shared it with the family.
The live musicians were also very entertaining! They completed our experience. So thankful!
We'd come here again just to have a chill weekend afternoon.

I will return again and again
I was looking for a winery opened during Memorial Day. It seems that many wineries have limited their hours due to the pandemic. When I searched wineries in Livermore Retzlaff Vineyards popped up and I decided to make a trip.
Although I did not have reservations, I was accommodated fairly quickly. To my surprise, outside food was allowed and the tasting room had bottles available to enjoy outdoors. There was live music which was an added bonus.
I very much enjoyed my time at Retzlaff. The staff in the wine tasting room were friendly and welcoming. The wines themselves were great for the weather. I liked the layout of the vineyard overall. I would definitely come back on a non holiday.
