We originally opened in Walnut Creek, California in 1999 and now bring our exceptional menu and pleasant surroundings to the Livermore area.

Excellent Afghan restaurant in Livermore: the ambiance, service and food were outstanding.
I tried the Bulanee Katchalu appetizer: ground lamb, mashed potatoes and herbs stuffed turnover.
The entrée was a combination kebab: skewers of lamb and beef with brown rice. I also ordered a side of Boranee Kadu: sautéed pumpkin topped with yogurt and a meat sauce. The Afghan Cardamom Tea was also really flavorful.
I made my own sampler from the appetizer section and couldn't have been happier. Everything was absolutely fresh and sitting out on the patio on a beautiful sunny day, it really was an ideal afternoon; interestingly enough, today was the first day of fall and it felt like summer still!
The mantu here had more vegetable variety than any other place I tried and the sambosa what is evidently just made so it was perfectly hot and crisp! I forget the name of the eggplant medallions but they too were delicious. Totally fair prices for the quality and ambience! Downtown Livermore is a pleasant stroll as well! Please come support this local restaurant and enjoy the surroundings!
Super delicious! Came to celebrate nowruz here with a friend. Great service! Everything tasted amazing. Prices are very low and reasonable. The mantu was my favorite. Very nice ambience with cute decor.
