ScreenWorks is the best. My teen's iPhone SE displayed the black screen of death on the 13th month of ownership. It was obviously a display issue as the phone still reacted to touch on the screen. Since the phone itself only costed $200 from the service provider, I didn't want to spend $130 or more for Apple to fix it for me. I've replaced iPhone batteries on my own before so I thought I'd try my own screen replacement. Turns out the Y screw drivers that come with the kit are poorly made, and the internal Y screws in the phone strip easily. In the middle of my DIY, I had two screws that were completely stripped and no DIY way to solve the problem. ScreenWorks was really kind and helpful. I expected to be shamed for trying a DIY, but Austin was very professional and explained my options. He spent the time to explain the difference between my Amazon purchased replacement screen (no Truetone) and one that ScreenWorks would provide. They could fix the phone for $80. For reasons I won't go into for this review, I decided to stick with my DIY plan and Austin was willing to remove the stripped screws and provide replacement screws for $20. Under the circumstances, I thought that was the best solution for me since I was already $30 into this for the part I purchased. I think most other screen replacement shops would have been unwilling to help me DIY. I am so appreciative that they were willing to help me out. Austin said "we like to help people," and it totally shows in their attitude. I was able to finish my DIY, but if I had to do this again, I would go straight to ScreenWorks and not attempt a DIY. Before I started down the DIY path, other places that I contacted wanted about $110 - $150 for a screen replacement. If only I had known about ScreenWorks beforehand.
I must give 5 stars to this place. My daughter's iPhone7 screen cracked, I called for price, confirmed walk in ok, no appointment is needed, high quality repair, in & out 20 min. The owner also called 4 days later to follow up and check if everything was all right. Greatly appreciated with satisfaction.
