To Luciano Strizzi, preparing Italian food communicated a philosophy. From a modest Italian deli known as L. Strizzi, Luciano and his wife, Assunta, garnished the American Dream. “Seventy years after L. Strizzi opened in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, I dedicated our Italian restaurants to my grandparents, Luciano and Assunta. As Italian immigrants, born and married in Villa Santa Maria, the province of Abruzzo, these two people helped bring the flavor of Italian village life to America. With each ladle of sauce we serve at Strizzi’s comes a hint of that seasoning and our philosophy of freshness.”
My husband took me to Strizzi's for my 59th birthday tonight. Was extremely impressed with the professionalism and kindness of employees. Jeff the manager approached us immediately upon entering there establishment. We were seated immediately by a window which we requested and told us to enjoy our dining experience. Our server Miles appeared at our table within minutes of being seated. Warm Bread was brought right away and our drink order was taken. My husband had the pork chops and I had the cioppino and it was delicious. Ended the meal with a free bday bread pudding dessert. Thank you Strizzi's for giving me a great bday experience we will definitely be back soon. And if you go ask for Miles he was amazing and had a great smile to go with the service.
GREAT restaurant on every level. If I could give 10 stars I would! Took my g-daughter to The Nutcracker, and we were both wanting atmosphere with outstanding food... Strizzis delivered! We were greeted with smiles and seated within minutes. Our server was friendly and offered great suggestions. The choice dishes were well prepared and the chefs know perfect blends of ingredients. Impressive eatery. HIGHLY recommend.
First time trying Strizzi's restaurant. I had the lasagna and minestrone soup, both were very good. Just want to say tho that we had the best waiter, young kid and I didn't catch his name, around 18 years old. He was efficient and had a great personality. I was this 4 other people and they also remarked what a great young man he is. Made our visit even more enjoyable.
