Our daughter joined here this year. We adopted her earlier this year and at 5 she came to the US with no formal exposure to any form of schooling. When we spoke to Teacher Anagi, before deciding to send her to Redwood Intl Montessori, she was very confident that the Montessori way of teaching will be able to make a difference and help her adapt to the schooling system quickly. Within 4 months, our daughter has done so well under the care of Teacher Lakshmi, Teacher Yesenia and Teacher Evelyn. The teachers are compassionate, loving and very attentive towards the children. They are very thorough in their approach towards education and life in general. We are very sure that by the end of the school year, our daughter will be ready for first grade and beyond.
We felt so welcomed and safe right from the very first time we met Ms. Rachel. She gave an amazing tour of the school and we enrolled our son immediately.
All the teachers are so dedicated, sweet and caring. We see everyday how much they care about their students and their well being. We can never thank them enough for all things they do day in and day out.
Their curriculum is a perfect mix of fun and learning. Our son loved all the summer activities that the teachers arranged.

Our son started here after he turned 2. He was already academically advanced for his age. One of our initial concerns was that the curriculum would cater to his age and he would not be challenged. I'm was very glad to find out later that the teachers adapted his learning pace and gave him assignments that fit his ability rather than age. The staffs there are also very good helping him work on areas where he needed improvements on- such as his shyness, socialization, critical thinking, potty training, etc. He is nearly 4 now and he's not afraid to singing and dancing in front of strangers during school performances. I think this school does an excellent job in preparing him for his next stage in life. Thank you.
