Our goal is to bring out traditional recipes and present them in a modernized fashion while preserving their local flavor profile as much as possible.
Food was 10/10, service was 10/10, and ambiance also 10/10.
We had a decent sized group of 9 people. We ordered wine, chow fun, chow mein, Mongolian beef, a fish dish, general chicken, fried eggplant, and a few other dishes I'm forgetting right now. Everything was so flavorful and fire! We came here to celebrate my moms 60th birthday and the restaurant did not disappoint. I will definitely be returning
Each dish, each wine, was fabulous!
The chicken and corn soup was the best I've ever had! The bacon wrapped in shishito peppers in a sweet ginger glaze was awesome. The main dish was beef with orange peel and it was a great finish to the dinner!
Derrick provided attentive service. He introduced me to a fine French Pinot- Marsanney. All positive experiences here! Music also created a fun ambience. Thank you!
My favorite restaurant in Livermore. Uncle Yu's is located in downtown livermore, there's plenty of parking. Restaurant is beautiful, clean and service is always topnotch.
Food!!! Oh the best! We celebrated my husband's birthday here and everything we ordered were 5 stars. I don't even remember anything bad that I ordered here every time we visit. The food and wine menu is pretty extensive. I will be surprised if anyone can't find anything in their menu. We ordered steamed dimsum tray, vegetable tarts, lobster shumai, peking duck pancake, honey walnut prawns, peking scallops, chowfun with wagyu, fried rice, and chocolate decadence for dessert! We left with very happy tummy. LOVE LOVE LOVE this restaurant.
