My father Edgar Plascencia has always been one to throw ingredients in and vioala you have your meal, my mother Margarita Quintero has her specialties, from carnes en su jugo, to tortas ahogadas. We strated off making 10 plates a day to go and try to sell to different companies, my father worked two jobs while my mother worked part time and then slowly it turned into her attempting a sale in her food. Now the funny thing is that our intentions was never to open a restaurant, it was always to just have whats necessary for our family and thats it. Eventually we went to the city and we were informed that we needed a commercial kitchen in order to be able to sell food, so with that news we started searching for a small kitchen only to be able to make the 10 plates. So one day, we were driving home and my mother being the curious and impulsive person she is, decided to stop by this little place and ask if the hall kitchen was available, we got the blessing to speak with the beautiful Abby Devoto, she was amazing about everything and she let us know that, that kitchen wasn’t but that there was indeed another kitchen in what use to be the golf course cafe, available. Little by little it started to grow and eventually Abby had the idea of a restaurant, to my parents it was crazy but then she told the HOA and gave them the idea and such, my parents finally gave in and said “lets do it”. The idea of INC 82 came to us one day while trying to figure out where to go to eat in our local area. Realizing that the choices in Dublin are pretty scarce when it came to non-chain restaurants, we decided to create our own, because that's what all people do, right? We started working with an executive chef to produce a mouth-watering menu and a brewmaster to brew the greatest beers. Mmmmmm beeeeeeer........ Together, we created a microbrewery and restaurant with a hip environment where you can get local beer, cocktails, and freshly made food. Why the name you ask? Well, the city of Dublin was founded in 1835; however, it didn't become an incorporated city until 1982, hence the name INC 82.
